What are the responsibilities and job description for the High School Biology Teacher position at University Academy Charter High School?
Teach biology and/or electives in Human Anatomy & Physiology, Environmental Science, and Agricultural Science and Food Security to classes of no more than 20 students in grades 9-12. Design and implement engaging, interactive lessons that help them develop their scientific understanding and problem-solving skills. Create positive and student-centered learning environment which facilitates the completion of goals and objectives particular to the New Jersey Student Learning Standards and Next Generation Science Standards.
REQUIRED: NJ Teacher of Biology CE/CEAS or Standard certification. Please submit resume, cover letter, and copy of all relevant NJ certifications. Position begins September 2025 for 25-26 SY.
