What are the responsibilities and job description for the Construction Laborer position at Universe Living?
Universe Living is seeking an energetic Construction Laborer to assist with various CapEx, remodfeling and construction projects across our San Fernando portfolio.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with job site setup, cleanup, and general labor to support construction and renovation projects
- Load, unload, and transport materials, tools, and equipment between sites
- Support skilled trades (carpentry, electrical, plumbing) with basic tasks
- Perform demolition and debris removal in a safe and efficient manner
- Complete minor repairs such as painting, drywall patching, and basic carpentry
Qualifications:
- 1–3 years of construction or general labor experience preferred
- hMUST have a valid driver’s license, insurance and reliable transportation; ability to travel between job sites
- Ability to lift heavy materials and work in various weather conditions
- Basic knowledge of construction tools, safety practices, and job site procedures
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and ability to follow directions and work as part of a team
