- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years experience in a dispatching role and customer service setting required
- Proficient in personal computer skills including electronic mail, record keeping, routine database activity, word processing, spreadsheet, graphics, etc. This role requires an above average knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Provide accurate and friendly customer service in a timely fashion.
- Maintains radio contact with all drivers to relay relevant information regarding route changes, road conditions, or other pertinent info.
- Utilizes UTS software and GPS technology to notify drivers of route changes and instructions in a timely manner
- Maintains incident/procedure files to ensure a quick and thorough response to accidents or emergencies.
- Triage issues and respond appropriately to issues of greater importance.
- Handle customer inquiries and complaints by providing appropriate solutions.
- The ability to troubleshoot and find alternative solutions in a fast-paced work environment.
- Communicate any negative trends or problems to the management team.
- Troubleshoot problems with employees, students, and campus administration.
- Follow company communication procedures, guidelines, and policies.
