Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive financial strategies aligned with organizational goals to promote growth and stability.
- Oversee all aspects of corporate accounting, including general ledger management, account reconciliation, and financial statement preparation.
- Lead budgeting processes, financial analysis, and forecasting to support strategic decision-making.
- Ensure compliance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles), IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards), IAS (International Accounting Standards), and other regulatory requirements.
- Manage risk analysis and risk management initiatives to safeguard assets and ensure regulatory adherence.
- Supervise treasury management activities such as cash flow analysis, investment management, and cost control measures.
- Oversee the preparation of regulatory reports, financial reports interpretation, and profit & loss analysis for executive leadership and stakeholders.
- Drive continuous improvement in financial software systems, automation processes, and internal controls to enhance efficiency.
- Collaborate with business development teams on revenue management strategies including ASC 606 (Revenue Recognition Standard) compliance.
- Lead a high-performing finance team by fostering leadership development and promoting a culture of accountability.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or CMA certification preferred.
- Extensive experience in corporate finance, public accounting, or non-profit accounting with proven leadership capabilities.
- 10 years in a senior leadership role with proven track record in finance.
- Deep understanding of IAS, IFRS, GAAP, ASC 606 standards, and technical accounting principles.
- Strong expertise in financial analysis, risk management, budgeting, forecasting, and cost management.
- Proficiency with financial software systems and advanced skills in account analysis, balance sheet reconciliation, accounts payable/receivable management.
- Demonstrated ability to interpret complex financial reports and communicate insights clearly to stakeholders.
- Excellent strategic planning skills combined with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
