What are the responsibilities and job description for the Quality Assurance Specialist position at Universal Rehabilitation Institute?
Must have an NJ drivers license. Must have specific knowledge of NJAC10:44A & NJAC10:44C
Key Responsibilities-
Documentation: Record precise, chronological, and unbiased details of incidents including who, what, when, where, and why.
Investigation: Conduct interviews with witnesses, assess the scene, and perform root-cause analyses to determine the origins of the event.
Compliance & Reporting: File necessary reports with regulatory agencies (DDD) and company leadership.
Risk Mitigation: Develop corrective action plans to rectify unsafe conditions and prevent similar incidents from recurring.
Data Analysis: Track incident metrics to identify trends, improve safety protocols, and build predictive analytics.
Required Qualifications-
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Healthcare, Quality Assurance, Risk Management or relation field.
Experience: 5 years working with adults with developmental disabilities, traumatic brain injury & other neurological disorders with in the residential & day program settings; experience with incident reporting, follow up & investigations; background in risk management. Knowledge of NJAC10:44A & NJAC10:44C.
Skills: Strong analytical thinking, highly organized documentation capabilities, attention to detail and precision, excellent communication skills, time management to meet deadlines, takes initiative, and proficiency with Microsoft and related applications.
Pay: Up to $90,000.00 per year
