JOB SUMMARY:

The Senior Director of Workforce Technology Services leads the global transformation of workforce technology platforms across Universal Destinations & Experiences (UDX). This role is responsible for driving the modernization and optimization of Human Resources, Workforce Management, and Team Member Experience systems, including platforms such as UKG, SAP Success Factors, and other enterprise platforms.

As a key leader in UDX’s Core Business Applications domain, the Senior Director will partner with HR, Operations, Finance, and Technology teams to define and execute a strategic roadmap for global workforce technology. This role will ensure that solutions enhance scalability, compliance, automation, and team member experience, driving efficiencies in scheduling, timekeeping, payroll, and workforce analytics.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

Technology Strategy, Transformation & Optimization

  • Define and execute the workforce technology roadmap which includes identifying opportunities to leverage automation, self-service, and mobile solutions to optimize scheduling, payroll, compliance, and labor management.
  • Apply innovation and modernization of workforce tech platforms (UKG, SAP, etc.)
  • Lead the enterprise-wide transformation of HR and workforce management technology, ensuring alignment with business, compliance, and employee experience goals.
  • Stay ahead of emerging trends in workforce technology, AI-driven HR solutions, and digital employee experience tools.

Leadership & Collaboration

  • Leading global teams, mentoring, cross-functional collaboration
  • Lead a global team of HR technology experts, workforce system engineers, and system integrators.
  • Drive cross-functional collaboration to standardize workforce management processes and maximize technology value.
  • Develop and mentor team members, fostering growth, collaboration, and engagement in HR technology innovation.

Stakeholder Partnership

  • Partner with HR, Operations, Finance, and Technology teams to align workforce technology investments with business objectives to maximize value
  • Act as a trusted advisor to HR and business leadership, providing insights and recommendations for workforce technology enhancements
  • Champion a culture of automation, self-service, and team member empowerment through technology.

Operational Excellence

  • Governance, performance monitoring, compliance, and continuous improvement of platforms
  • Establish governance frameworks for the deployment, adoption, and continuous improvement of workforce technology platforms.
  • Monitor system performance, adoption, and ROI, continuously identifying opportunities for optimization and innovation.
  • Ensure adherence to SLAs, governance requirements, and regulatory mandates, proactively addressing risks and system performance issues.

Leadership & Collaboration

  • Leading global teams, mentoring, cross-functional collaboration
  • Lead a global team of HR technology experts, workforce system engineers, and system integrators.
  • Drive cross-functional collaboration to standardize workforce management processes and maximize technology value.
  • Develop and mentor team members, fostering growth, collaboration, and engagement in HR technology innovation.
  • Understands and actively participates in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UO policy, procedures, training and team member involvement activities.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is required.
  • Master’s degree (e.g., MBA or related field) is preferred.

EXPERIENCE:

  • 10 years’ experience in enterprise technology strategy, HR technology, or workforce systems transformation.
  • 5 years leading teams in a large, global, matrixed organization;
  • or equivalent combination of education and experience.
