Manages the finance function at Universal Orlando Resort, including financial planning, analysis and ensuring timeliness/accuracy of financial results and reporting. The Manager, Finance must participate in financial reviews with operators and executive leadership.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Direct and supervise the overall applicable financial function with specific focus on respective division(s) at Universal Orlando Resort.
- Build short- and long-term financial plans, including pacings, forecasts and budgets.
- Participate in meetings with Operators and/or Executive leadership and provide support to develop/execute financial plans.
- Perform analysis on actual financial performance, extending findings to provide meaningful recommendations.
- Oversee and execute month-end financial close processes.
- Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting of business results with variance commentary.
- Manage staff by providing leadership, coaching, mentoring, career development, and performance management.
- Understands and actively participates in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UO policy, procedures, training and team member involvement activities.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree is required.
- Master’s degree is preferred.
- 5 years of finance experience
- 3 Supervisory preferred;
- or equivalent combination of education and experience.
