Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Financial Analyst. This role is a full-time exempt position that is reporting into the Chief Financial Officer.
Responsibilities:
The ideal candidate will play a critical role in providing financial insights, analysis, and strategic support to the organization. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to influence decision-making, drive profitability, highlight Risks & Opportunities and optimize financial processes. the responsibilities will include.
- Financial Reporting & Analysis:
- Prepare and distribute financial statements; conduct variance analysis on results including commentary, SWOT, trends, etc.
- Identify root causes and changes to trends that influence decision making; make corresponding recommendations to reach our goals
- Gather and analyze financial data from various sources to create comprehensive by SKU, customer, product family reports, KPIs, dashboards and presentations.
- Provide analytical support to the Operations team regarding all manufacturing activities, including inventory, costing, pricing, KPIs
- Create industry/competitor comparatives and provide insights to management
- Evaluate capital expenditures, review proposals, ROI, payback period, etc.
- Budgeting & Forecasting:
- Own the annual budget and quarterly forecast process; align financial goals with business strategy
- Experiment with different techniques to adjust to business changes.
- Business Partnering:
- Collaborate with various department heads to provide stronger tools to run their areas and highlight trends
- Support continuous improvements throughout corporate functions – alignment and standardization of reports, dashboards, and KPIs to enhance efficiency and accuracy
- Lead the company’s one Universal source of data via Datarails software
- Analytical ad-hoc reports
- Bachelor’s degree: Finance, Accounting or related field experience
- At minimum 5 years of accounting/business/financial analysis experience preferable within a manufacturing or consumer products company.
- Highly computer literate with data mining and ERP systems, and have strong communication, interpersonal, organizational, time management, and analytical skills.
- Experience working with large data sets in excel using pivot tables and VLOOKUP’s in addition to a reporting tool (datarails)
- Requires deadline-driven, high-energy individuals, able to work autonomously and lead as a key contributor on teams.
- Knowledge of MS Excel (advanced), Word, and Outlook, and the ability to multi-task with moderate supervision.
- Hybrid Work Schedule for individuals that reside within 40-mile radius to New Brunswick, NJ with 4 days onsite/1 day remote
- For individuals that meet the requirements of this role, dependent upon skillset and merit the salary range for this role is up to $120,000.00
- This role is not eligible for any short-term incentive type bonuses.
