The actual base salary offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include, as applicable, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job. How You’ll CREATE
- Own the responsibility of processing key income statements and distributions as part of the North American Royalty team.
- Maintain a strong knowledge base and ownership of assigned income sources including usage understanding, payment schedule, statement layout details, unique source processing steps, and a strong relationship with income source contacts.
- Be consistent and cognizant in defining and maintaining a high standard for Global administration as a representative for the largest territory in UMPG’s Global system.
- Prepare ad hoc reporting as needed.
- Partner with the NA Analytics team to strengthen the territory’s ownership and understanding of all territory data in processing and reporting, to clients both external and internal.
- Maintain strong relationships with counterparts in the Global Royalty, Analytics, I.T., and Finance teams among others.
- 1 year of music rights experience in a royalty administration, analysis or related role strongly preferred.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential.
- Advanced experience in Microsoft Excel and text editors required.
- Experience with Business Intelligence tools such as DOMO, Tableau, and Power BI a plus.
- Ability to work in a bespoke systems landscape.
- Strong organization skills, critical thinking, analysis, and being detail oriented are required for success.
- Ability to meet deadlines quickly and accurately while managing competing priorities is crucial.
- 4 year degree in Business, Accounting, or Music Business strongly preferred.
- The ability to partner and work well as part of a team is required.
- Overtime as required.
