What are the responsibilities and job description for the CNC Machine/CNC Saw position at Universal Marble & Granite?
Universal Marble and Granite has been in business since 2005. We have a new quartz showroom and over 3000 full slabs in stock. Building on experience, we strive to create a seamless process, from quoting to install. We are Ohio's leading installer, fabricator, and distributor. We carry a wide variety of products. We carry Granite, Marble, Quartzite, Soapstone, Quartz, Venetian Marble, and many more. We are looking to add another CNC Operator to our team. You will have a set schedule. This position is responsible, but not limited to:
- Placing material on/off machines via crane
- Programming layouts and sinks
- Cutting Material from Rough Cuts to Exact Measurements
- Carefully Monitoring to Ensure Quality Control
- Keeping the Machine and Surrounding Area Clean
- Following OSHA Safety Regulations
- Properly Maintenance Machines Per Manufacture Specs
Qualified candidates will have:
- H.S. Diploma or G.E.D Equivalency Required
- Valid Driver’s License
- Computer Proficient
We are willing to train the right person with little to no experience. This candidate must possess a strong work ethic willing to learn and absorb all information. This position requires the employee to be able to read both a tape measure and be able to focus and read a CAD layout.

Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
