We are seeking a reliable Shipping & Receiving Lead to prepare precision-machined parts for shipment and handle logistics of incoming and outgoing deliveries and parts pick ups. This multi-function role involves pick-ups and deliveries within a 150-mile radius, organizing small package and LTL shipments for pick up, and ensuring proper packing procedures are followed per each customers requirements. Pay scale displayed is generic, actual pay commensurate to experience with available raises to skill level demonstrated within 90-day probationary period.
Key Responsibilities
- Pack finished parts securely.
- Inspect shipments for accuracy.
- Load and unload vehicles.
- Deliver orders to customers.
- Maintain clean delivery vehicles.
- Maintain clean and organized shipping area.
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license.
- Clean driving record.
- Forklift experience
- Ability to lift 50lbs.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Basic computer entry skills.
- Punctual and professional attitude.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, changing environment
