Position Details:
- Local dedicated/home daily driving
- Monday–Friday schedule
- 1st shift position Monday - Friday (5:30 a.m. - 2:30 p.m.)
- 2nd shift Monday - Friday (1:00 p.m. - 11:00 p.m.)
- Time and a half after 40 hours
- Consistent, year-round freight
Terminal Location:
1011 S Claude Rd
Grand Island, NE 68803
Responsibilities:
- Operate Class A commercial vehicles safely and in compliance with regulations
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections
- Transport freight on assigned routes
- Maintain accurate logs (DOT compliance)
- Communicate with dispatch regarding delays or issues
- Complete delivery documentation accurately
- Follow routes and adjust for traffic/weather conditions
- Maintain professional customer service
Requirements:
- Class A CDL required
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Minimum 1 year experience in the last 3 years
- Clean driving record
- No DUI/OWI in last 5 years
- No more than 2 moving violations in last 3 years
- No more than 2 preventable accidents in last 3 years
- Must pass DOT physical, drug screen, and background check
- Strong communication and time management skills
