LINC's experienced management team, with its state-of-the-art technology, provides customized logistics solutions to its customers resulting in proven efficiencies and savings.
Our operation is based in Spring Hill, TN and this location supports General Motors. We help manage and operate their battery plant providing assistance with production, sequencing, and inventory management support.
Key Responsibilities
- Own on‑site safety and quality compliance in alignment with Universal Logistics and GM standards
- Serve as the daily point of contact for OSHA, GM EHS/EVO, and internal EHS requirements
- Proactively identify risks, lead near‑miss and incident investigations, and drive corrective actions to closure
- Conduct regular floor audits, safety observations, and hands‑on coaching to reinforce safe behaviors
- Maintain clear, accurate safety documentation and customer reporting
- Support PIT, material handling, and EV / RESS / Class 9 safety as applicable
- Lead safety training, onboarding, and refresher efforts to ensure workforce readiness
- Partner with Operations and HR to embed safety and quality into daily execution
- Reinforce standard work, work instructions, and process discipline on the floor
- Support launches, staffing ramp‑ups, and shift start‑ups with a strong safety and quality focus
Qualifications
Required
- 2–5 years of experience in a safety, quality, or operations support role within a manufacturing, automotive, or logistics environment
- Strong working knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety management systems
- Experience supporting customer‑specific safety and quality requirements, preferably GM
- Ability to lead incident investigations and perform root cause analysis
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence at all levels
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and reporting tools
- Ability to work flexible hours and support multiple shifts as needed
Preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in Safety, Industrial Engineering, Quality, Operations Management, or a related field
- Automotive, battery, or EV manufacturing environment experience
- Experience with EV / RESS / Class 9 materials
- OSHA 30, First Aid/CPR, or related safety certifications
- Prior experience in a startup or launch environment
Salary : $60,000 - $70,000
