Schedule: 2nd Shift (Monday–Friday, 2:30 PM – 11:00 PM)
Responsibilities
- Own and maintain all paint shop processes, including chemical systems, circulation, and lab functions
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to identify root causes and implement long-term solutions
- Support production goals across safety, quality, delivery, cost, and morale
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to reduce waste and improve efficiency
- Develop and maintain standard work for paint and production processes
- Support new product launches and process integration
- Partner with maintenance, engineering, and vendors to improve performance and reduce costs
- Use data to make informed operational decisions and identify improvement opportunities
- Promote a strong team environment focused on accountability, collaboration, and problem-solving
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering or related experience
- Experience in automotive, paint systems, or manufacturing environments
- Strong understanding of production processes and continuous improvement methods
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and solve problems in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work across all levels of the organization
- Proven ability to lead, coach, and develop employees
- Knowledge of quality systems, process flows, and product launches
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Flexibility to work shifts and overtime as needed
