Logistics Insight Corporation (LINC), a subsidiary of Universal Logistics Holdings, Inc., is a leading third party logistics provider (3PL) that offers a broad scope of services throughout the entire supply chain. LINC's experienced management team, with its state-of-the-art technology, provides customized logistics solutions to its customers resulting in proven efficiencies and savings.
Our operation is based in East Peoria, IL and supports CAT’s material flow needs. We manage and operate a warehouse facility that provides pick and pack, sequencing, inventory management, and daily production support.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary on‑site HR contact for hourly employees
- Coordinate recruiting activities, including interview scheduling and candidate communication
- Facilitate new hire onboarding, orientation, and initial training coordination
- Maintain accurate employee files, records, and HR system data
- Assist with benefits enrollment, timekeeping questions, and policy guidance
- Support employee relations by handling routine inquiries and escalating issues as needed
- Partner with Operations leadership on staffing needs tied to production requirements
- Assist with compliance, audits, reporting, and HR documentation
- Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all HR‑related matters
Qualifications
- 1–3 years of experience in an HR, payroll, or administrative role
- Experience in a warehouse, manufacturing, or logistics environment preferred
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately
- Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, production‑driven environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- Experience with HRIS or timekeeping systems preferred
