Summary
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Systems Administrator I to join our IT team. This entry-level role is ideal for individuals with foundational experience in Microsoft Active Directory, Azure, and general IT support. The successful candidate will assist in maintaining system stability, supporting users, and learning advanced administrative tasks under the guidance of senior staff.
What You’ll Be Doing (Essential Duties)
- Assist in managing Microsoft Active Directory, including user account creation and group management.
- Support Azure AD and basic cloud service configurations.
- Provide technical support to end-users for hardware, software, and network issues.
- Monitor system performance and report anomalies to senior administrators.
- Help maintain documentation for IT procedures and configurations.
- Participate in system updates, backups, and patch management.
- Collaborate with IT team members on infrastructure projects and initiatives.
Minimum Requirements
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
- 1-2 years of experience in IT support or systems administration.
- Basic understanding of Microsoft Active Directory and Azure services.
- Familiarity with Windows Server and desktop operating systems.
- Strong troubleshooting and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Skills
- Certifications such as CompTIA A , Network , or Microsoft Fundamentals.
- Experience with PowerShell scripting or basic automation tools.
- Exposure to cloud platforms and virtualization technologies.
