PVBH is an 84-bed, short-term, acute care hospital offering inpatient, partial and intensive outpatient hospitalization, as well as specialized treatment programs for chemical dependency. If you are interested in making a difference in the lives of others, join our team! We are currently seeking a PT (24 hrs/wk) Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) for (work as needed on days or nights (7a-7p) or (7p - 7a).

The Behavioral Health Technician provides basic nursing care, aids with activities of daily living, and assists in the maintenance of a safe and clean environment, under the direction and supervision of the Hospital Supervisor and the assigned RN to the unit.

Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent required; Minimum two (2) years of education focused on nursing, psychology, social service, medicine or related field preferred. Completion of EMT, CNA, Medical Assistant, Security training program or equivalent preferred.

Experience: Experience in a psychiatric setting preferred.

Other requirements: Must be able to obtain AZ Fingerprint clearance card (Level one) and are at least 21 years of age during application of card
