ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Completes nursing assessment thoroughly and in a timely manner within facility guidelines. Assessment includes all required screenings and components.
- Communicates effectively with physicians and ensures orders are accurate and carried out accordingly.
- Accurately documents on treatment plan illustrating patient progress or need for additional problem or intervention identification.
- Follows policy and procedure and involves next line of leadership as needed to resolve issues.
- Intervenes appropriately in crisis situations.

- Education/Licensure: Graduated from an Accredited Nursing program; Current license to practice nursing in Louisiana or (eligible to receive or renew).
