LMSW/LCSW /LPC Therapist
Behavioral Hospital of Bellaire is seeking dedicated and talented Program Therapists (LMSW/LCSW /LPC) to provide therapeutic services to patients. LMSW/LCSW /LPC Key Responsibilities include:
- Interviewing patients and developing the psychological history
- Assessing the therapeutic needs of the patient and family
- Provide counseling sessions for families, individuals, and groups
- Developing appropriate treatment objectives
- Preparing monthly treatment summaries
- Provide counseling sessions for families, individuals, and groups
- Act as the patients' and families' primary contact during the patient's stay at the facility
- Serve as patient advocate with the treatment team
- Laisse with outside agencies and individuals to develop and coordinate discharge planning with the treatment team and the patient's family

Qualifications
Education: Master's Degree from an accredited college or university, in Social Work or a clinical related mental health field
Experience: Minimum of two (2) years' experience in a psychiatric health care facility, with direct experience in family and group therapies, crisis intervention, and treatment skills; must have strong clinical assessment skills strongly preferred.
License: Program Therapist must possess licensure in the State of Texas as a LCSW or LMSW.
Certifications: Successful completion of CPR and Handle With Care certification; certifications may be obtained during orientation.
