Job Summary:
Oversees that Food and Nutrition Service personnel meet overall standards in personnel and food safety policies and procedures . Coordinates overall special functions, training and evaluations of staff. Plans, organizes and implement strategies and goals for activities and projects of the Food and Nutrition Department. Utilizing hospital/department resources in maintaining productivity and budget standards.
Essential Job Functions:
- 1.Leads personnel in positive performance and complete 90 day and annual reviews.
- 2.Makes decisions in stressful situations and maintain control to promote service excellence.
- 3.Trains, counsels, motivates, and helps staff in meeting hospital vision/mission goals.
- 4.Completes daily inspections for all service areas and corrects problem areas.
- Oversees staff schedules to provide adequate staffing and supervision to meet TDH and TJC requirements for personnel competence in food service provision.

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in business or related field preferred.
- Dietitian Preferred
- Dietary Manager Association Certification and/or associate's degree in Restaurant Management with five years managerial experience in healthcare food service required.
- Bilingual Preferred
