What are the responsibilities and job description for the INTERN position at Universal Health Services, Inc.?
Intake Intern is accountable for directing the Assessment and Referral activities at the facility. As a Intern, this position provides direction to a staff of Intake Counselors in the provision of psychiatric assessment services, including clinical evaluations, crisis intervention, and referrals. This position interfaces closely with the medical staff, fellow department managers and administration, treatment team/external case managers/managed care organizations, functions as a liaison with other hospital intake departments. Will also take calls for new admissons into the hospital and assess the criteria that needs to met in order to admit.
Qualifications
Currently enrolled in Bachelors program for in a Mental Health related field.
