Facility IT Manager

Three Trails Hospitalin Independence, MO is actively hiring a Facility IT Manager to provide management and technical support of facility's computer network and all associated technologies.

The name Three Trails was selected to honor the historical significance of the city of Independence as the starting point for the Santa Fe, Oregon and California Trails. The logo icon is a compass, which is symbolic of wayfinding, and metaphorically the personal journey to recovery.

The Groundbreaking for the new hospital was held in January 2025. Beam topping was held in July 2025. The facility is expected to open in the second half of 2026.

The IT Manager position will:

• Apply systems analysis techniques and procedures, including consulting with users, to determine hardware, software or system functional specific specifications.
• Design, document, test, create or modify computer programs related to machine operating systems.
• Management of junior IT staff. Preparing manuals and user guide for training purposes and for the use of users.
• Recommending the need for new software and hardware systems to the management. Works with UHS-BH Corp IT with research, bids and purchase orders.
• Performs routine maintenance on PC equipment and phone systems.
• Provide off hour support as needed.

Three Trails Behavioral Hospital will:

• Serve children and adolescents, adults and seniors with innovative and evidence-based inpatient behavioral healthcare focused on individual needs and comfort.
• Create more than 200 new, full-time jobs including nurses, clinicians, therapists, technicians and administrative staff, when the facility is fully operational.
• Be located at the intersection of I-70 and Little Blue Parkway, adjacent to the Children's Mercy Hospital Outpatient Clinics.
• Feature 120 licensed beds ready to meet the mental health needs of the surrounding community.
• Span more than 88,000 square feet, and will include an activity yard and gym.

• Associates degree or 4 year degree in information systems related major.
• 5to 8 years' experience in a Microsoft Windows environment with knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, general networking (LAN\WAN), telecom systems and any other IT related equipment and IT responsibilities.
• Management experienced required. 1-3 years management experience required, 3 years preferred.
