***North Spring Behavioral Healthcare is currently hiring an Assistant Principal to join our Education Department!***

North Spring Behavioral Healthcare is seeking an experienced and dedicated Assistant Principal to join our leadership team. The ideal candidate is required to hold a valid PK-12 administrator and supervisor license issued by the Virginia Department of Education (VDOE), with an endorsement in Special Education: General Curriculum, PK-12 preferred.

Key responsibilities include:

• Serving as the school test coordinator for state and district assessments
• Managing student scholastic records
• Acting as the student information system administrator
• Provides instructional leadership via classroom walkthroughs and formal observations
• Serves as the building-level special education and 504 administrator
• Assists the principal with attendance reporting
• Additional duties include analyzing student behavior, facilitating the functional behavioral assessment (FBA) process, and writing behavioral intervention plans (BIPs)

Further, the Assistant Principal will serve as the administrative designee over the education department in the absence of the school principal, ensuring continuity in leadership and decision-making. This role requires strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills, along with a commitment to fostering a positive learning environment for all students.
