What are the responsibilities and job description for the ADMISSIONS-ER REGISTRATION CLERK position at Universal Health Services, Inc.?
Responsible for pre-admitting and admitting all direct admissions in the ER department-registration area: pre-registration and registration of all outpatient services (Laboratory, Radiology, EKG's/EEG's, One Day Surgeries, and Observation) and verification and/or pre-authorizations of hospital stay for reimbursement purposes.

Qualifications
High school graduate or equivalent. Business school graduate, college courses, or knowledge of medical terminology preferred.
Prior experience in a healthcare setting preferred.
Special Skills, Knowledge: Computer literate/knowledge (windows 95-98), ability to use office machines, printers, PC, copier, etc.
