Role Description
The Marketing Manager will develop, implement, and execute marketing strategies aimed at driving brand awareness and business growth. Responsibilities include overseeing marketing campaigns, managing social media accounts, creating marketing materials, and monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs). Additional tasks include working closely with cross-functional teams, managing partner relationships, and analyzing market trends for strategic decision-making. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Plano, TX.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop Marketing Strategies: Create short-term and long-term marketing plans aligned with business goals and target audiences. Develop and own the overall marketing vision and strategy aligned with business objectives and market expansion plans. Define brand positioning and ensure consistency across all touchpoints; digital, physical, and experiential. Act as a key advisor to the CEO and executive team on market trends, customer behavior, and growth opportunities.
• Market Research & Analysis: Conduct market research, competitor analysis, and customer insights to identify opportunities and inform strategic decisions with company executives.
• Campaign Planning: Plan and oversee multi-channel marketing campaigns (digital, social, content, SEO, email, events, etc.) that drive engagement, lead generation, and conversions. Coordinate marketing campaigns with sales activities.
• Work with in-house creative design teams and third-party vendors to coordinate messaging and design across all digital assets, optimizing UX/UI and SEO for public-facing assets (websites, landing pages, social media, etc.) and marketing materials (flyers, brochures, spec sheets, promotional videos, newsletters, etc.).
• Prepare online (e.g., email newsletters) and print marketing campaigns (e.g., mailers).
• Work with the company’s technology team to craft messaging and build the company’s online presence by updating and maintaining the website and social media channels.
• Oversee the writing and submission of press releases, articles, and other content on behalf of the company.
• Trade Shows & Events: Research relevant industry trade shows across the U.S. and present recommendations to the executive team for approval. Upon approval, plan and execute event participation. Must be open to travel for trade shows and related events.
• Performance Metrics: Define key performance indicators (KPIs) for campaigns and track performance using analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, SEO tools, etc.).
• Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, content creators, designers, and developers, to ensure marketing alignment.
• Brand Positioning: Ensure consistent brand messaging across all channels and campaigns. Build a compelling brand narrative around sustainability, technology, and innovation in the EV sector. Oversee all external communications, including public relations, investor messaging, and thought leadership.
• Budget Management: Allocate and manage the marketing budget effectively to maximize ROI.
• Innovation: Stay up to date on marketing trends and tools; recommend and test new approaches to improve outcomes. Regularly research market trends and share insights with the executive team.
• Monitor and report on the effectiveness of marketing communications.
• Maintain effective internal communication to ensure all relevant company functions are informed of marketing objectives.
• Analyze potential strategic partner relationships for company marketing.
• Help foster a positive internal culture within the company.
Job Requirements
• Proven experience (3–5 years) as a marketing strategist, marketing manager, or similar role
• Solid knowledge of SEO, Graphic designing, content creations, social media, email marketing, and web analytics
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong analytical mindset; comfortable with marketing technology, CRM systems, and performance metrics
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
