What are the responsibilities and job description for the Electrical Apprentice/Journeyman position at Universal Electric, Inc.?
ELECTRICAL APPRENTICE:
Looking for an Electrician/apprentice with a minimum of 1 year of experience in commercial construction/service work. Must have a good working attitude and an eagerness to learn. Hand tools and transportation are required. We offer good starting pay, benefits and continuing education.
JOURNEYMAN ELECTRICIAN:
We are also looking for skilled electricians wanting to make a change. We do select projects in commercial and residential construction. Pay based on experience.
Responsibilities:
- Read electrical drawings.
- Use hand tools and power tools to make repairs and perform installations.
- Use the National Electrical Code (NEC) in the performance of job functions.
- Perform all work according to electrical codes and best practices.
- Work with a wide variety of electrical systems.
