The Opportunity
Universal Diagnostics (UDx) is seeking a Laboratory Technician to join our Lab Operations Team in the Dallas-Fort Worth, TX area. In this role, you will support day-to-day laboratory operations through sample accessioning, labelling, aliquoting, plasma processing, and extraction support activities.
You will also support laboratory organization, sample tracking, and operational readiness activities to help ensure accurate sample traceability and efficient laboratory operations as we continue scaling the UDx Signal-C assay.
You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including assay development, automation, bioinformatics, quality, and laboratory operations to support ongoing lab execution and study work.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including assay development, automation, bioinformatics, quality, and laboratory operations to support ongoing lab execution and study work.
How You’ll Contribute
- Support daily laboratory operations and sample processing activities
- Perform sample accessioning, labeling, aliquoting, and sample organization activities
- Support plasma processing and extraction workflow activities
- Maintain accurate and complete documentation in LIMS and laboratory records
- Follow SOPs and batch records to ensure consistent and reproducible results
- Prepare laboratory materials, consumables, and reagents for scheduled workflows
- Maintain organization of laboratory storage areas, consumables, and sample inventory locations
- Support laboratory equipment cleaning, maintenance, and general laboratory organization activities
- Adhere to laboratory safety policies, quality standards, and material handling requirements
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Chemistry, Biotechnology, or related scientific field preferred
- Minimum 1-2 years of hands-on laboratory experience required
- Experience handling and/or extracting biological samples preferred
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to follow SOPs and laboratory documentation practices
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced laboratory environment
- Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office applications
- Experience working in a molecular laboratory, CLIA, or CAP environment preferred
