- Spring 2027 Program Dates: Approximately January 2027 – April 2027
Major Responsibilities
- Assists in reviewing and analyzing system requirements, design documentation, and engineering drawings.
- Supports the development and maintenance of system models, diagrams, and specifications.
- Participates in integration and verification activities, including data collection, testing, and troubleshooting.
- Coordinates with multiple disciplines (ride, show, software, and operations) to ensure system alignment.
- Helps track project progress and documentation through various lifecycle phases.
- Provides day-to-day support for project tasks, including configuration updates, documentation control, and test report reviews.
- In pursuit of an Associate, Bachelor or Graduate degree at an Accredited Institution with current class standing of Junior or above.
- Minimum cumulative 2.8 GPA is required.
- A transcript is required upon application.
- Required skillset includes problem solving, analytical thinking, and attention to detail.
- Required software proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Preferred knowledge of systems engineering principles, requirements management tools (e.g., Cameo/MagicDraw), and basic programming or scripting.
- Familiarity with data analysis tools (e.g., MATLAB, Python) is a plus.
- Relevant coursework in Systems Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related fields.
- This internship will be an in-person experience, based in our Orlando offices.
- Interns must be currently pursuing a degree at an accredited university, and must have a graduation date later than April 2027.
- Universal Orlando does not provide housing. Interns are responsible for their own housing and transportation.
- All of our internships are paid, and you may also qualify for housing financial assistance if applicable. The Recruiter will provide specific eligibility details.
