The Senior Project Manager is responsible for effectively managing one or more complex, medium- to large-scale commercial construction projects throughout the Cincinnati/Dayton region—from discovery and design through development and final implementation.

The Senior Project Manager is responsible for all duties performed by the Project Administrator and/or Assistant Project Manager, as applicable, and may serve as a mentor to other team members to support professional growth and skill development. Local travel to job sites within the Cincinnati/Dayton area may be required.

Essential Functions
- Drive safety compliance and enforce adherence to all company and OSHA safety standards.
- Manage project teams through all phases of development, including analysis, plan review, scheduling milestones, installation, testing, and final delivery.
- Lead preconstruction and RFP package efforts in coordination with the Preconstruction Department and other company resources.
- Negotiate terms and conditions of contracts with clients.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for owners, providing consistent communication and project updates.
- Schedule and facilitate OAC and other project meetings.
- Submit all required project documentation, including submittals and RFIs.
- Support acquisition of permits and inspections as necessary.
- Ensure projects remain within scope and meet budgetary, scheduling, and quality objectives.
- Negotiate and process contract change orders.
- Demonstrate strong knowledge of construction accounting principles.
- Develop and submit owner invoices; review and approve all project-related invoices.
- Prepare and submit monthly financial projections.
- Provide project status updates to company leadership at predetermined intervals.
- Ensure all job processes align with Universal Contracting Corporation policies and procedures.
- Monitor project progress through updated schedules and daily reporting.
- Assist superintendents in resolving scope issues with subcontractors.
- Ensure proper performance evaluation input for field personnel within the project team.
- Identify and negotiate time extensions when justified and contractually permitted.
