Position Title/Status: Sales Manager, Hotels & Hospitality
Department: Corporate Sales / Hospitality Business Division
Reports to: VP of Sales, Hospitality
SUMMARY OF JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
This position supports the Hospitality Division within a specific demographic region and/or assigned customers list, with responsibility for driving sales growth and achieving gross profit revenue. The Sales Manager is responsible for proactive lead generation, qualification, negotiation and closing sales. Other responsibilities will include communicating with customers, accountability for learning and retaining specific product/brand/equipment information that will be essential to this position based on the number of individual items and brands distributed by Universal Companies.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
· Proactively prospect new accounts
· Hands-on account management
· Maintain/update Salesforce dashboards data and strategies
· Identify and cultivate quality leads and nurture them from new and existing customers
· Properly utilize channels and procedures to ensure accuracy with all transitions
· Actively participation in on-going training/education to learn/retain product and brand information
· Assist new and existing customers with selection of product and/or equipment in a professional and knowledgeable manner with approved sku lists and or Standards and maintain accuracy of those lists
· Prepare customer quotes and presentations
· Maintains existing customer database with accurate and up-to-date information
· Requires travel for tradeshows, in- person customer meetings, training and events
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
· Ability to work in a fast-paced fun environment
· Strong problem-solving abilities
· Technical prowess with updating and managing accounts with current sales tools
· Demonstrate time management and organizational skills with attention to detail
· Ability to manage and prioritize activities, multi-task, and follow tasks to completion
· Excellent interpersonal and oral/written communication skills
· Aptitude and excitement to learn
· Contribute insights, ideas and experience to help Division reach sales goals
· Excellent computer skills; Microsoft Office, Outlook, Excel, Salesforce
· Outgoing personality is a plus
· Ensure timely follow up with account lists
· Create plan of action and strategies for managing large corporate accounts
Education/Experience
· Accomplished sales leader in salon and spa industry with a vast knowledge of products, services
· Minimum of 5 years B2B sales management experience preferably in Hotel/Resort Spa
· College degree and or licensed in the wellness and beauty industry suggested but not required
