Overview
At Universal Blastco, we specialize in industrial services that protect, maintain, and restore critical infrastructure by preventing and repairing corrosion. We are currently seeking an Industrial Project Administrator to join our Fiberglass (FRP) Division in Delco, NC. This is a full-time, non-exempt salaried position supporting our growing FRP operations.
The Industrial Project Administrator provides administrative support to Project Managers and Project Coordinators to help ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, and within budget. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, proactive, and thrives in a fast-paced team environment. Success in this role requires strong communication skills, a positive attitude, the ability to manage multiple priorities, and a willingness to support the team wherever needed.
The responsibilities of the Project Administrator include, but are not limited to:
Administrative Duties
- Verify payroll and per diems
- Provide input to project tracker to ensure Project Managers have accurate real-time costs
- Maintain and update Job Boards
- Review and approve all new hire packets upon receipt
- Assist with billing and invoice approval as requested
- Electronic filing of project documentation
- Other administrative duties as required

QUALIFICATIONS:
Required Education and Experience
- Must have a High School Diploma
- Any combination of education, training, and experience that demonstrates the ability to perform the duties of the position
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Must be authorized to work in the United States
Preferred Education and Experience
- Experience in Construction Management
- Candidate majoring in Business or Construction Management
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word
Technical Knowledge
- Competent use of Microsoft Office: Excel, Word, Project, Outlook
- Intermediate computer skills
