Description
Responsibilities:
- Work with production planner and prioritize incoming parts for manufacturing department.
- Assist production material planner with mechanical release of production orders and BOM requirements as necessary to expedite releases to manufacturing.
- Evaluate production advice and release production orders
- Releases sub-assembly production orders in accordance to manufacturing schedules.
- Prepare information for quoting based on prints
- Update project pricing on production and purchase orders including cost to outsource
- Receive outsourced purchase orders
- Finalize all invoices in the system
- 3 years’ experience in a job-shop environment.
- Familiar with manufacturing practices and basic processes
- Experience with MRP/ERP systems, continuous improvement initiatives
- Ability to interpret technical information from engineering and manufacturing
