Duties

- Repair and maintain various vehicle components, including engines, transmissions, powertrains, and diesel engines, ensuring adherence to manufacturer specifications.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and specialized automotive repair tools efficiently and safely during repairs.
- Interpret technical manuals and schematics to troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical problems effectively.
- Perform routine vehicle maintenance tasks such as oil changes, brake service, and fluid replacements to keep vehicles in peak condition.
Qualifications
- Proven mechanic experience with independent shop background preferred.
- Strong mechanical knowledge across various vehicle makes and models.
- Hands-on experience with automotive electrical systems and diesel engine repair.
- Familiarity with automotive diagnostics software and schematics interpretation.
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools and welding equipment.
- Must have own tools.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining safety standards.
