Shift: Full-time, 10:30 am - 7:00 pm, flex shifts to earlier shifts as needed, for 64 hours per pay period. There is one holiday a year rotation and every 6th weekend call.
Staff in our Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) care for and monitor patients as they recover from the effects of anesthesia. This includes all aspects of patient care following surgery.

Responsibilities
- Provides nursing care for patients with actual or potential health care problems using the nursing process.
- Interprets patient information and makes critical decisions about needed actions.
- Plans and directs the nursing care for individuals, patients, groups of patients and their families, coordinating care in collaboration with other health care professionals to provide patient-centered care post-operatively to our surgical patients.
Education:
- Graduate of accredited nursing program (Must obtain BSN within 12 years of hire)
- Must have an active Iowa RN license
