SHIFT: Full-Time-Primarily Days, rotating weekends and holidays

We are seeking a dedicated Full Time Pharmacist to join our health system team. This position functions in accordance with the Iowa Board of Pharmacy Examiners and plays a vital role in delivering safe, effective, and compassionate pharmaceutical care to our patients.

Responsibilities

Qualifications

Education:

• B.S. Pharmacy with equivalent clinical experience.
• Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) preferred.
• Completion of an ASHP accredited PGY-1 pharmacy residency desirable.
  
  

Experience:

• Proficiency in navigating the electronic medical record.
• One or more years of hospital pharmacy experience preferred.
  
  

License(s)/Certification(s):

• Iowa Pharmacist license in good standing or eligible for licensure.
• Must attain a license to practice Pharmacy in Iowa within six months of employment.
• Must be directly supervised by a licensed pharmacist until Iowa Pharmacist license is obtained.
• Must maintain current license to practice pharmacy in Iowa and be in good standing with the Iowa Board of Pharmacy Examiners.
• Valid driver’s license when driving any vehicle for work-related reasons.
