The Patient Service Representative (PSR) is responsible for providing administrative and clinical support to the UPH-Meriter Center for Perinatal Care (CPC) and UW Health Maternal Fetal Medicine (MFM) leadership and clinical teams through a variety of tasks supporting department operations and all aspects of patient referrals from outside providers. The PSR transcribes orders, interprets clinical referral data and performs routine clerical functions associated with patient prior authorization, registration and scheduling. They greet and register patients on arrival for appointments in the CPC. To best support clinical leaders this position will have access to confidential patient information. This position supports the CPC with administrative duties to coordinate care between UPH- Meriter hospital and clinics, UW Health, and all outside referring providers.
