Responsibilities
- Assist with patient admissions, transfers, and discharges.
- Perform vital signs, EKGs, blood glucose checks, and specimen collection.
- Support nurses and physicians with patient care procedures.
- Provide compassionate, respectful assistance with daily living activities.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized care environment.
- Document patient information accurately and promptly.
Education:
- High School Diploma/GED or currently and actively working towards completion of Diploma/GED
- Prefer candidates that have successfully completed the CNA program and are active on the Iowa Direct Care Registry
- Must possess and maintain current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or within 3 months from date of hire
