Patient Care Technician - Lutheran Hospital
$3,000 sign on bonus for Full-Time!
Under the direct supervision of a Nurse, the Patient Care Tech provides basic nursing care for the personal and comfort needs of the patient.

- Please note: shifts will include a weekend and holiday rotation
- Shift differential of $2.65/hr for hours worked 3pm-7am
- Weekend shift differential of $2.50/hr for hours worked between Friday 11pm to Monday 7am

Responsibilities
- PCT performs patient care and treatments under supervision of a RN. Provides and documents care including, but not limited to, activities of daily living, mobility, specimen collection and respiratory support activities as directed by the RN.
- Possess the ability to lift, move, position and transport patients.
- Demonstrates the ability to meet the department work schedule.
- Demonstrates initiative to improve quality of care, patient and employee safety, and customer service.
Experience: Must be at least 16 years old
Please note: Some positions may require at least 18 years old
License(s)/Certification(s): Successful completion and documentation of one of the following:
- CNA Certification preferred
- Basic CNA Course or EMT-B Certification
- Valid Driver's License when driving any vehicle for work-related reasons
- Must possess and maintain current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or obtain within three months from date of hire
