Mobile Crisis On-Call Counselor (PRN as needed/on-call)

UnityPoint Health is seeking compassionate and resilient individuals to join our Mobile Crisis Response Team. As a Mobile Crisis On-Call Counselor, you will provide on-site support and consultation to clients experiencing mental health crises in community or home settings. This role is vital in helping individuals achieve stability during critical moments.
Current openings & locations:
(1) Mason City, IA - Day shift (8 hours), Weekends, flexible hours based on applicant's availability
Shifts: The shifts range from 7a-3p, 3p-11p and 11p-7a daily. On call pay is $3.25 to be available.

Responsibilities:Complete related data entry and documentation in accordance with agency policy.
During an on-call shift, be available by telephone and be prepared to respond to calls within a 1-hour physical response region while coordinating with the on-call partner.
Education:
- Mental health professional as defined in Iowa Code section 228.1
- Bachelor’s degree; or
- Associate’s degree; or

High school diploma
Experience (based on education level noted above):
- Mental health professional: 1 year of mental health experience
- Bachelor’s in human services: 1 year
- Bachelor’s in non-human services: 2 years
- Associate’s degree: 2 years

High school diploma: 2 years
Licenses/Certifications:
- Valid driver’s license and compliance with Eyerly Ball’s auto insurance policy
