Responsibilities
- Perform waived, moderate, and high-complexity laboratory testing to support patient diagnosis and treatment
- Process and prioritize specimens while ensuring accurate patient identification and quality standards
- Analyze test results, recognize abnormalities, and communicate critical findings appropriately
- Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot complex laboratory equipment to ensure reliable performance
- Maintain compliance with laboratory quality, safety, infection control, and regulatory standards
- Document testing activities accurately and utilize laboratory information systems effectively
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to provide timely, accurate laboratory services
- Assist with specimen collection, inventory management, and other departmental support activities as needed
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, staff training, and ongoing professional development
- Contribute to a positive, team-oriented environment while supporting departmental goals and patient-centered care
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in a chemical or biological science.
