Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care and support daily living activities under the supervision of a registered nurse
- Assist patients with mobility, hygiene, comfort, and positioning to promote safety and well-being
- Observe and report changes in patient condition to nursing staff in a timely manner
- Help maintain a clean, safe, and organized patient care environment
- Respond promptly to patient needs, call lights, and requests with professionalism and compassion
- Accurately document patient care activities and observations in the medical record
- Support infection prevention and safety protocols, including proper use of protective equipment
- Advocate for patient dignity, comfort, privacy, and individualized care
- Collaborate with nurses and other care team members to deliver high-quality patient care
