Join the team at Country Oaks as a Behavioral Health Professional/Counselor and make a meaningful impact in the lives of individuals seeking treatment and support. In this role, you will provide direct evaluation, counseling, and education services while helping clients and their families navigate the recovery process with compassion and care.

You will play an important role in coordinating case planning, maintaining accurate treatment documentation, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to support positive client outcomes. This position also serves as a team lead for substance abuse counselors, offering guidance and support while assisting leadership with daily operations within residential and outpatient services.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct substance abuse assessments, interventions, individual counseling, and group counseling services.
• Develop individualized treatment plans, education, and consultation services for clients, families, and support systems.
• Coordinate referrals, case management activities, team meetings, and community resource services.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation reflecting services provided and recommended follow-up care.
• Collaborate with in-house staff and outside professionals to ensure comprehensive, quality client care.
• Complete drug and alcohol toxicology screenings as needed.
• Follow all local, state, and federal regulatory standards while maintaining required licenses, certifications, and annual competencies.
  
  

Qualifications

Education:

• Requires a master’s degree in a behavioral healthcare services related field.
  
  

Experience:

• Preference of 2 years of experience in behavioral health, counseling, or substance abuse treatment; or any equivalent combination of training and experience that provides the required knowledge, abilities, and skills.
  
  

License/Certifications:

• Valid driver’s license when driving any vehicle for work-related reasons, attained within 3 months of employment.
• One of the following certifications/licensures required within 2 years of employment in the state they are working: Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor, Internationally Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor, Licensed Professional Counselor, Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor, or Licensed Clinical Social Worker.
• Specific offers are determined by various factors, such as experience, skills, internal equity, and other business needs. The salary range listed does not include other forms of compensation which may include bonuses/incentive, differential pay, or other forms of compensation or benefits that may be applicable to this role.
