Shift: Monday -Friday, Day Shift
Under the direction of a health care provider, Medical Assistant is responsible for the delivery of patient care that promotes the safety and well-being of our patients.
The Digestive Health Center Medical Assistant is primarily responsible for providing pre-procedure instructions to patients, with the majority of the role focused on telephone communication and patient outreach. This position plays a key role in preparing patients for upcoming procedures and ensuring they have the information for a safe and successful experience. Following completion of orientation, this position is eligible for a hybrid/remote work arrangement.

Education:- Graduate of an accredited program for Medical Assistants (MA), Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN) or Emergency Medical Technicians (EMT) - Certificate, Diploma or Associate's Degree as applicable - OR - certified or registered as a CMA, RMA, CCMA, EMT-B, EMT-I, or LPN
- Certified or registered through one of the following:
- American Association of Medical Assistants
- American Medical Technologists
- National Healthcareer Association
- National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians
- Or
- LPN licensure within state of practice.
- Cert Basic Life Support
- Computer data entry experience
