Nurse Practitioner

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Nurse Practitioner at Unity Urgent Care and Pharmacy, located in Toledo, OH. The Nurse Practitioner will provide patient-centered urgent medical care, assess, diagnose, and treat acute and chronic health conditions, and prescribe medications as necessary. Additional responsibilities include coordinating patient care, performing diagnostic tests, and collaborating with physicians, nurses, and pharmacy staff to deliver comprehensive treatment plans. Strong emphasis will be placed on ensuring quality and timely care within a dynamic and supportive environment.

• Proficiency in diagnosing and managing acute and chronic health conditions, and experience in urgent care, primary care, or family practice settings
• Skills in patient assessment, diagnostic testing, and developing individualized treatment plans
• Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems, medical documentation, and record-keeping
• Strong interpersonal communication, teamwork, and patient education skills
• Knowledge of local, state, and federal healthcare regulations and compliance requirements
• Current and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner (NP) license in the State of Ohio
• CPR and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications
• Master’s degree in Nursing and certification as a Family or Adult-Gerontology Nurse Practitioner (preferred)
