Worksite: Boston, MA (Hybrid-2-3 days per week onsite )
Overview:
The Digital Services Content Lead supports public-facing content and internal intranet content. The role focuses on writing, editing, accessibility, and coordinating digital content with internal teams.
Responsibilities
- Write and edit internal and external digital content.
- Ensure content accuracy, consistency, and accessibility (WCAG).
- Fix website issues such as broken links and formatting errors.
- Track content performance and support improvements.
- Maintain content standards, policies, and style guidance.
- Coordinate training and updates in the CMS.
- Manage requests for new content and major updates.
- Review PDFs and ensure plain-language standards.
- Support intranet governance and monthly content reviews.
- Assist with social media posts and newsletters.
Qualifications
- Strong writing and editing skills.
- Experience with digital accessibility and WCAG standards.
- Understanding of UI/UX and content usability.
- Experience with CMS and web publishing tools.
- Ability to analyze requirements and solve problems.
- Leadership and teamwork experience.
- Customer service mindset.
- Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Communications, or related field.
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $50.00 - $55.00 per hour
Expected hours: 37.5 per week
