Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Salesperson, located in Chicago, IL. The Salesperson will advise and assist customers in selecting suitable solar energy solutions by identifying their needs and providing tailored recommendations. Responsibilities include generating leads, conducting consultations, delivering presentations, negotiating contracts, and maintaining customer relationships. The Salesperson will work closely with other team members to meet sales goals and contribute to the company’s mission of expanding clean energy adoption.
Qualifications
- Excellent communication skills, with a focus on relationship-building and customer service
- Strong negotiation, persuasion, and presentation skills with the ability to close deals
- Knowledge of renewable energy, particularly solar systems, is a plus
- Ability to learn and utilize sales tools such as CRM systems to track leads and manage sales pipelines
- Organizational and time management skills to handle multiple clients and meet targets
- Self-motivated and goal-oriented personality with a passion for sustainability and clean energy
- A high school diploma or GED is required; a bachelor's degree in a related field is a plus
- Previous sales experience, especially in solar or energy industries, is preferred but not mandatory
