Substance Abuse Counselor with Addictions Experience and one of the following credentials is required: CADC, LAC or LSW
Unity Place is seeking a Licensed Clinician to join our team! Join a multi-disciplinary team providing excellent treatment to Adults with Addiction and Co-occurring Disorders.
Candidate must be a certified or licensed clinician with either one of the following: CADC, LAC or LSW qualifications, with knowledge of program admission assessments and screening. In addition, the candidate would need to have strong therapeutic interventions for Addiction and Co-Occurring population. Routine consultation with the on-site Licensed Program Director, Assistant Program Director and Clinical Director is required.
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor’s Degree and/or Credentialed CADC, or LAC or LSW .
SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS:
- Strong Clinical Skill set in Mental Health & Addiction work
- Creativity & familiarity in therapeutic orientations for individual interventions & therapeutic groups.
- Ability to perform telehealth services
- Experience in completing, NJSAMS assessments
- Knowledge of ASAM Criteria
- Experience with the WFNJ Substance Abuse Initiative and Drug Court Population
- Utilizing Treatment Team Model
- Excellent documentation skills
- Treatment planning and all other required documentation
- Case Management, crisis intervention & facilitating psycho/educational groups
