Kitchen Assistant / Dishwasher
Unity Place of Monmouth – Monmouth County, NJ
Unity Place of Monmouth is seeking a reliable and motivated Kitchen Assistant / Dishwasher to join our team. This role involves supporting daily kitchen operations, including setting up workstations, preparing basic food and beverages, assisting the chef, and maintaining a clean and safe kitchen and cafeteria environment.
Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
- Follow all health and safety guidelines
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen area
- Assist with food preparation
- Provide cooking or grilling support as needed
- Wash dishes, service trays, pots, and kitchen appliances
- Support the chef with additional tasks as requested
Qualifications:
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Prior food service experience is a plus
- Ability to follow instructions accurately
- Ability to work well as part of a team
- Must be able to stand for extended periods
Schedule:
- Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–3:30 PM
- No weekends!
Pay:
- $15.50/hour
Education:
- High School diploma or equivalent (Preferred)
