About Unity Place
Unity Place of Monmouth County is a well-established behavioral health treatment program providing Adult Mental Health Partial Care, IOP, and Outpatient services. Our team operates in a collaborative, accountable, and clinically focused environment, with a strong emphasis on quality care and operational consistency.
What You’ll Do
- Conduct comprehensive intake assessments and biopsychosocial evaluations
- Make level of care determinations based on clinical presentation
- Provide individual counseling and initial client stabilization support
- Manage intake workflow and admissions coordination with attention to detail and timeliness
- Serve as a key point of contact for referral sources and incoming clients
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure smooth transitions into care
- Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation in EHR systems
Qualifications
- Active NJ license (LSW, LAC, or equivalent) – required
- Experience working in mental health, substance use, or co-occurring settings
- Ability to independently conduct or support clinical assessments
- Strong clinical judgment, communication, and engagement skills
- Organized, reliable, and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting
- Experience with documentation and EHR systems
Preferred
- 1 years of experience in a behavioral health or clinical setting
- Experience with intake, admissions, or biopsychosocial assessments
- Familiarity with Partial Care, IOP, PHP, or outpatient programs
- Exposure to case management or care coordination
Experience Note
Recent graduates with strong internship or field placement experience will be considered; however, this role requires the ability to work with a high level of independence, professionalism, and accountability.
