Unity Place of Monmouth County is a compassionate, community-based Adult Mental Health Partial Care Program dedicated to helping adults build stability, hope, and lasting wellness. We are seeking a warm, organized, and clinically skilled Admissions Coordinator who is passionate about connecting individuals to care and building meaningful relationships both inside and outside our program.
This role is ideal for a licensed clinician who enjoys a balance of clinical work, intake assessments, counseling, and community outreach, and who understands that the admissions process is often a client’s first experience of feeling heard and supported.
What You’ll Do
- Serve as a welcoming and knowledgeable point of contact for individuals seeking mental health services
- Conduct comprehensive intake assessments, including diagnostic evaluations, to determine clinical needs and level of care
- Provide individual counseling using evidence-based, client-centered approaches aligned with treatment goals
- Assist clients with case management needs, including housing, insurance, and community resources
- Build and maintain strong relationships with referral sources through outreach, presentations, and community engagement
- Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary treatment team to ensure coordinated, compassionate care
- Maintain timely, accurate clinical documentation in compliance with all regulatory standards
What We’re Looking For
- Active NJ LSW, LAC, or other applicable clinical license (required)
- Experience working with mental health, substance use, and co-occurring disorders
- Previous experience in a behavioral health, medical office, clinic, or treatment setting preferred
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and clinical assessment skills
- Excellent organization, time management, and documentation abilities
- Empathetic, professional, and team-oriented approach
- Comfortable with basic computer systems and electronic health records
